Having a dog that sheds year round I have purchased numerous appliances to remove pet hair from my floors, carpets and furniture. Most recently I purchased the Hoover WindTunnel Pet Rewind vacuum and I have found the answer I had been looking for for years. This is truly an awesome vacuum with features that make it the answer to my pet hair problems.

The Hoover WindTunnel Pet Rewind features:
This vacuum has the patented WindTunnel technology that only Hoover has. This technology allows the Hoover to pickup dirt that other vacuums leave behind.
This is a bagless vacuum and the dirt canister empties from the bottom which helps to eliminates spills. A big plus! Nobody wants to have to vacuum up again what you just accidentally dumped on the floor. The Hoover pet rewind thinks of everything.
As the name says it is self-propelled. To get the power this vacuum has it is heavy. The self-propelled feature saves my back.
The filter is easily changed without handling the filter directly. It also has a HEPA filter which traps 99.97 dust and pollens which is a great help for pet allergies. Your guests might not love your pets as much as you do.
There is an on board upholstery cleaner with a roller brush. This just snaps on and off the main vacuum and is always at your fingertips. This roller brush works well for removing pet hair from your sofas and chairs. The Hoover WindTunnel Pet Rewind also has the crevice tool which helps remove the pet hair from small areas. The edge cleaning bristles work great for getting close to the walls and furniture. Let’s not forget the headlight to help you see what Rover lest in the darkest of corners.
The power cord is 31 feet long. This is just a little longer than the Hoover WindTunnel T Series Rewind. The rewind feature is a great bonus. No trouble with that not working.
The hose for attachments is a generous 8 ft. This allows you to reach most areas and stairs comfortably. I have seen complaints about other vacuums not having a long enough hose.
There is a 5 position height adjustment which works for bare floors up to the most plush carpets. The on/off brush roller feature is a real plus when going from bare floors to carpets.

This powerful vacuum is fantastic! I’ve been using it for a couple of months now on carpet, hardwood, wool rugs, and jute rugs. It’s worked very well on each surface, and moving from one surface to another is facilitated with a simple shift of a switch.LOVE the dirt finder and the self-propel features, even though I originally thought they were silly gimmicks. I rely on them both each time I use the vacuum.I highly recommend the extension hose if you have stairs; otherwise you’ll have to lug the vacuum step by step, which isn’t easy.
